INTEGRATIVE ARTS counselling

“In my experience art is the freedom to explore in-between spaces, for instance between what is and what could be.” - Joelle Deroy, BACP Integrative Counsellor, HEC MD, UEL PG

British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy

Move toward your dream

Art has the unique ability to transcend the ‘Here & Now’, to bring new openings and opportunities infused with creative vitality. In a complex world, it helps you gain awareness, develop new perspectives or relationships, transform, and adapt.

My goal is to help you unlock your creative spirit, moving from a state of unease towards your dream, be it manifest or still to be unveiled.

Integrative arts psychotherapy and, as needed, business and behavioural coaching, are the 2 pillars of my counselling services.

I work with adults (young to mature) from all walks of life, presenting a great variety of questions, experiences and personalities, and who may be or not artistically inclined. My approach is INTEGRATIVE, both in terms of conceptual frameworks (including psychoanalysis, Gestalt and person-centered) and in terms of artistic modalities in session (painting, drawing, clay, sandtray, body movement, rythms, theater, writing…)

In a session, art is an invitation but not an obligation: sometimes you may prefer it to be talk therapy.

As a BACP Integrative Counsellor, member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, I abide by their Code of Ethics, alined as well with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
